- I said the same thing once, and was flamed for not knowing about some
- piece of software from Europe (NComm?) which did indeed do 1200/75.

- My guess is that it sets the port for 1200 baud, and transmits at
- 75 baud using timed "breaks." I don't know if it's possible to do this
- in a hardware independent manner.... Most probably it hits the hardware
- directly.
