  25. Another clever side effect of doing the video decoding in software is that 
  26. the hardware for the colour digitiser is the same as that for the mono. It is
  27. only the software that is different, or so I believe. 
  28. I have looked at both the mono and colour boards, and both are identical. 
  29. The only difference appeared to be the software that was supplied.
  30. I have yet to verify this with an actual test, but I'm pretty sure it's
  31. true.

  33. The quality of the images generated by both the mono and the colour is
  34. very good, especially considering the low price of the mono version.
