- Another clever side effect of doing the video decoding in software is that
- the hardware for the colour digitiser is the same as that for the mono. It is
- only the software that is different, or so I believe.
- I have looked at both the mono and colour boards, and both are identical.
- The only difference appeared to be the software that was supplied.
- I have yet to verify this with an actual test, but I'm pretty sure it's
- true.

- The quality of the images generated by both the mono and the colour is
- very good, especially considering the low price of the mono version.
