  9. Prior to RISCOS 3, the printer driver did not support
  10. colour.   I therefore used the Beebug printer driver
  11. with my Star XB24-10.

  13. I was delighted to discover that RISCOS3.1 driver supported
  14. colour - it is far simpler to configure one driver than swap
  15. between
  16. two.

  18. However, I discovered that the 3.1 driver does not support
  19. colour in resolutions above 180x180.  I appreciate that high
  20. resolution colour printing is not for those in a hurry, but
  21. on occasions one is prepared  to wait.

  23. Is this a restriction on the way that the Acorn driver
  24. software works or can it be sorted out by adjusting the
  25. printer config file.

  27. I am loathe to go back to a pre RISCOS 3 driver, as that
  28. involves  unloading various modules , lack of compatibity
  29. ....
