  21. 1) It was a lame-brained half-assed piece of code
  22. 2) Acorns 'links' with apple won't go anywhere near
  23.    getting anything actually *useful* out of them
  24.    like permission to run the OS.  It's marginally
  25.    feasible that the people doing the Mac clones
  26.    under X might license their code, but no hobbyist
  27.    is going to be able to afford it.
