- And the folks in Fido who do this get sniped at regularly, because
- Fido is *not* a "IBM-PC" network! It is specificly stated in many places
- that text in echoes is to be limited to 7-bit ASCII, with only CR and
- LF as allowed control characters.

- and other "oddities" as members. And they complain when someone screws up
- their screen!
