- I have been running xntpd version 3.1 on sun sparcs and have
- noticed that trying to use the internal clock with this version
- does not work. If I set a machine to sink to its internal clock
- at let say strat 5 that machine will not then broadcast itself
- as a strat 5 clock instead it thinks it is strat 18 or 21 (I
- forget what the exact number is but its the highest possible).
- Because of this when I loose my network connection all my machine
- clocks start to slowly wonder. Can you give me any clues as
- to if I'm doing something wrong or if this is a bug. I have used
- xntpd version 2?? in the past and have not seen this problem.
