- I just installed the xntpd(3) daemon on a Sun running OS 4.1.1 and
- I'm getting periodic syslog messages like the following:

- Dec 11 16:05:00 blaze xntpd[8339]: Previous time adjustment didn't complete

- Can somebody suggest to me what the problem is? Also, when I start up xntpd
- I get a single message about being unable to open /dev/pps. I configured
- the xntpd suite without any support for reference clocks. (This required a
- minor change to xntpd/ntp_loopfilter.c in order to compile and link
- successfully.)
