- What an excellent idea! There are of course some details to be worked
- out, but I've initiated an effort to make this happen as per your
- suggestion.
-
- We spend a lot of cycles doing interoperability testing in house with
- other vendors' stacks, but we clearly can't cover them all. We'll also
- be participating in the TCP/IP bake off in February with (I'd imagine)
- most all major TCP/IP implementations out there. This would be a great
- way for us to get even better coverage.
-
- I'll have to find someone with time to port FTPd to Windows NT (if
- anyone out there is working on this, please let me know), and I'll
- have to work out the details with our MIS department. Clearly this
- won't happen super-soon, but I'll be sure to post once we have a box
- on the Inet that all can talk to.
-
- In the meantime, you might want to take a look at the beta for yourself.
-
- Thanks for the great idea.
