  11. I am running the versin of SLIP that comes with Ultrix
  12. on a DECStation and a VaxStation.  The VAXStation is
  13. a remote site that is about 30 miles away and it is running
  14. as the master.  The DECStation is the slave and is
  15. here at our lab.

  17. I am looking for a shell script or c program that would detect 
  18. when a hangup occured on either end and could attempt
  19. to restart the whole process.  I would rather not write
  20. this if it already existed.

  22. I can't use PPP because I can't find one that runs on a
  23. VAXStation that runs Ultrix.
