  12. A number of people seem to have experience implementing user 
  13. level NFS servers and/or dummy NFS servers (aka user-mode file 
  14. systems).  I was wondering what code base (if any) was used.
  15. If a reference port was used;
  16.     - was it of good quality, especially with regard to
  17.       performance and correctness?
  18.     - how much did the source code cost?
  19.     - what were the redistribution rights/restrictions of the
  20.       binaries?  of the modified source?
  21.
