  16. first of all I think this is the appropriate newsgroup to talk about ATM.
  17. ATM is the basic transport mechanism of B-ISDN and a I.xyz standard.

  27. There are suppliers of ATM-cards, switches ... but:

  29.   for example a ATM-switch costs about 50000$  (it's a SPARC with extra HW!)

  31. So I don't know anything about cards for PC etc.
