- I tried sending this directly to David Hornsby (both djh@munnari.oz.au
- and djh@cs.mu.oz.au) and the smtp server kicked it back saying user
- unknown.
-
- We've setup a SPARCstation 2 (fudge) with arnsrd and I'm trying to use
- IPRemote on a
- Mac PowerBook 170 (candy) with a SCSI Ethernet adapter. (Later, I plan to
- try it
- using VersaTerm SLIP.) I'm having some trouble. When I use netwatch while
- trying to connect, I see:
-
- 008019100a12>0800200f8b1e 0800 60 udp candy>fudge 60t 12345>384 17
-
- 0800200f8b1e>008019100a12 0800 70 icmp fudge>candy 255t unreachable
- port 247.254.249.144
-
- 0800200f8b1e>008019100a12 0800 70 icmp fudge>candy 255t unreachable
- port 247.254.249.144
-
- 0800200f8b1e>008019100a12 0800 70 icmp fudge>candy 255t unreachable
- port 247.254.249.144
-
- and then IPRemote says there's no remote appletalk service available. Can
- you tell from this what I've done wrong? At the moment, I'm not using any
- filter or
- password. I have tried using "-2 -z Default". (I hacked arns.c so it
- defaulted to le0.)
-
- Thanks!
