- I thought I new everything about appletalk <-> unix communications, but now..
-
- For over a year now I've been running CAP 6.0 pl 125 (?) on a Sun 4m.
- I've gotten AUFS (server side), PAP, and lwsrv running. However I just
- saw a reference to AFS (to access archive.umich.edu). In my digging I
- ran into netatalk-1.2.1. It seems that these packages are somewhat similar
- and provide some of the same features, but I would like someone familiar
- with both of them to tell me more. My big question is can I use the
- pap code from netatalk with the CAP libraries? pap from netatalk seems
- to be easier to configure (for page reversal and text file printing).
-
- I've tried many times to get psf v3pl5 and papif from CAP6.0 to work together
- but haven't succeeded. Any hints?
-
- And finially can anyone recommend one of Eudora, POPmail, TechMail pop clients
- over the other?
-
- Thanks for any advice.
