  13. The University of Maryland and the Division of Computer  Research
  14. and  Technology at the National Institutes of Health seek a post-
  15. doctoral researcher to work with us  to  carry  out  applications
  16. driven  computational  science  research.   The  research will be
  17. motivated by leading edge biomedical applications of  interest to
  18. the  National  Institutes of Health. We seek a researcher with an
  19. excellent research background in compilers, tools or   algorithms
  20. for  high  performance computers. The researcher should also have
  21. an intrinsic interest in tackling challenging  biomedical  appli-
  22. cations.  This is a joint position with both the Computer Science
  23. Department at the University of Maryland and the National  Insti-
  24. tutes  of  Health.  The  intent  is for the researcher to work in
  25. close collaboration with the research group lead by Joel Saltz in
  26. the Computer Science Department at the University of Maryland and
  27. the group lead by Robert Martino of the Division of Computer  and
  28. Technology at the National Institutes of Health.  Please send in-
