  13. Speaking of which, for us lowly gnu (golly its not kansas) gcc
  14. folks, is there ANY workaround in character mode to read single
  15. characters from the keyboard ala getch() ? Do more recently updated
  16. libs support this function? Can one call a supplied vio or pm
  17. functions from a window compatible program ?

  19. This is an absolute essential for me, and if there's no way to do it
  20. with gcc then it's going to mean signficant $$$ to buy a complier
  21. that does (any suggestions ?)
