  19. Let me add my experience to this thread.  Using LPRMON to direct LPT2 to
  20. a network printer, I can print Postscript just fine from DOS applications,
  21. but not from Windows applications.  All the Windows apps put a single
  22. control character (which displays as a diamond) at the beginning of the
  23. output.  This causes the printer to output an ASCII dump of the
  24. Postscript commands.  I can get it to work by printing to a file,
  25. deleting the first character, and sending the file to the printer.

  27. I suspect that Ignacy has the same problem.  My printer is a LaserWriter
  28. II NTX, by the way.
