  12. I have been trying to try out the TCP/IP applications included in the
  13. PDK1 CDROM of DAP but keep getting error in the midst of reading disk
  14. B-3 (towards the end of it).

  16. Has anybody been able to installed it without much hitch? I have been
  17. using ICAT to install.

  19. .... Hold a minute, this time it is OK? (this is my 4th attempt).

  22. So far, I've installed the following from the CD-ROM:
  23. 1) OS/2 (32-bit GRE Beta), and
  24. 2) Windows 3.1 support,

  26. The above took me almost about 10 tries before I installed successfully.
  27. I never had similar problem installing the real release from IBM.
  28. (The system seems to lock up during a boot if I run SVGA ON in a previous
  29. bootup. Any help? What is the use of SVGA ON anyway? I am using ET-4000.)

  31. I've also installed After Dark screen saver for Windows and it seems to
  32. be working alright although I've not let it run in seamless mode.

  34. If there is interest, I'll continue reporting my experience as I install
  35. more applications from the PDK1 and later PDK2 CDROMs.

  38. Any one want to briefly tell me how to install Lan Server 3.0? Do I need
  39. to install OS/2 first? Then what before installing Lan Server 3.0? Thanks!
