- Interesting that you should mention "a repeated pattern...lines" I
- see these too, but in very different circumstances. I have an ATI
- Graphics Vantage which starts to have problems when, I think, it
- undergoes too rapid a temperature transition. It may go through a
- vaiety of other problems first, but it frequently gets there in the
- end. What can be very interesting about this is that it may happen in
- only one window. e.g., I could be reading news in TE/2, then I get
- the lines, I cntrl-esc, get a black screen, hit enter, and I'm back in
- TE/2 because that was what was on the task list, and the visual
- problems are momentarily taken care of. Weird.
