- Add the new drive FIRST as D:. Format it withing OS/2 (HPFS or FAT, your
- choice, I recommend HPFS). Use WPSBK to backup the desktop into a
- sub-directory on D:.

- Now, switch the drives so that the new drive is C: and install OS/2. Copy
- WipeWPS.EXE into c:\os2, shutdown, and re-boot from OS/2 floppies. CD to
- the sub-directory where WPSBK saved your desktop, and run WPSREST.CMD.
- Copy CONFIG.SYS, STARTUP.CMD, and AUTOEXEC.BAT from the old drive to
- the new drive.

-
- Well, the reformat is nice, but not absolutely needed. True, the boot record
- still points to OS2LDR, but that doesn't take any room. Why not just delete
- the OS/2 directory structure, OS2LDR, OS2KRNL, README, STARTUP.CMD,
- CONFIG.SYS, and AUTOEXEC.BAT? Drag all this to the shredder, and its
- gone.
