- sorry to nitpick, but the acronym 'midi' is becoming convoluted these days.
- Briefly, Roland's MPU-401 *was* a defacto 'midi' standard, now Creative Labs
- and Mediavision use a slightly different 'standard' (don't even know if
- THEY are compatible with each other...) which I think is based on a motorola
- chip of some kind. Anyway, to make a short question monotonous, do you know
- if the midi is MPU-401 or another 'standard'. I'm trying to get an idea of
- where things are going for MPU-401. Thanks for any additional info.
