- Hello,
- Another plea for help with Trident SVGA drivers. I have applied the
- SP and then installed the new 32bit Trident drivers (and the
- associated bvhsvga, etc) according to the file from Steve Withers
- archived on Dec 9. However, I get garbage when I change from a
- windowed Dos session to a full screen session using alt-home. I have
- the video-notification turned on in the dos settings. If I return to
- a windowed session hitting alt-home again, things are fine until I
- attempt to go back to a full screen session. I replace the various
- file in \os2\dll with the originals from the SP, and tried to use the
- generic svga 800x600x16 driver recently put on hobbes. Same results.
- I have tried turning of the bios video shadow ram, no luck. I see in
- the readme some suggestions if the wps screen gets trashed, but I have
- the opposite problem - the dos screen gets trashed. Things work fine
- in regular vga with the SP supplied drivers.
-
- My system: Generic 386-40 motherboard, 8 megs, trident 8900c 1 meg
- board with default jumper settings,AMI bios.
-
- Any help would be appreciated.....Sorry if it's something obvious.
-
- Thanks,
- Steve
