- Please be a little more precise. IBM has NEVER laid anyone off. Truthfully,
- the early retirement plan that they offer is VERY attractive. Also, the
- whole point of their doing this is to make the company leaner (get rid of
- some of that famous IBM beauracracy). Personally, I think that it's a
- good plan, and one that we can't expect to work in one year. Give it some
- time.
