- My understanding is that the mainframe section of IBM is in trouble. The
- to-be-laid-off people and to-be-sold assets are mostly dealing with
- mainframes. Because of this, the roles of workstations and PCs become
- very crucial to IBM's survivability. I see this as a sign of IBM's
- continuous support of OS/2 as well as AIX.
