- We've just received these new ATI cards, but we can't seem to get them running
- yet. Two people that have tried to install them keep having their systems
- hang under BOTH DOS and OS/2. One of the key factors here is that the systems
- have 16MB of RAM and the ATI cards have 2MB of VRAM also.
-
- It seems that if you just put the card in the system, it will come up in
- regular VGA mode. But once you try to run the install program, the horror
- begins.
-
- If anyone has successfully installed this ATI card, I'd appreciate it if you
- could send me the procedure you used to get it to work. I figure it should
- work in the 8514 mode, but I'll be happy to start out in VGA at this point.
-
- Thanks in advance.
