- I'm porting an editor written under UNIX to OS/2 2.0. It is a text screen editor
- (of course it can be run in an OS/2 window on desktop). It's not yet complete,
- but I like working with it even with missing mouse support (which will be
- added later) more than fiddling around with VI, which is e.g. not able to
- cope with German special characters. I'm also no friend of installing the
- huge EMACS package.
- The editor I'm porting is named EHP (for (E)ditor written on a (HP) machine).
- You can find the archive file on HOBBES (ftp-os2.nmsu.edu) in the
- /pub/uploads directory. The archive file is named ehp.zip. Get ehp.txt first,
- if you want to get a short overview (ehp.txt is also in /pub/uploads, though
- it is contained in the archive, too).
-
- Please let me know, if you have problems installing the package.
- Thanks,
- Axel (auhl@fzi.de)
