- I made this switch back when I was using Windows and it would
- sometimes fail to start. I discovered that the reason was that Win
- was trying to auto-detect my serial Logitech mouse, first on COM1 then
- on COM2. It would hit the modem first and sometimes get hung. When I
- put the mouse on COM1 this never happened again.

- I didn't think this could be a problem in OS/2, since the COM port for
- the mouse port is plainly stated (correctly even) in the CONFIG.SYS
- file.
