I think IBM is going to offer a "upgrade" to OS/2 2.0+Service Pack, in the
same sense the Service Pack was an upgrade.
You know, charge for media and shipping only, distribute it free electronically.
Apparently, from the above message, this may not be possible.
I *do* know that IBM has said it will repackage the whole thing as OS/2 v2.1 andsell it. It will be OS/2+Service Pack+Winos2 v3.1+drivers+few bugs+fast WPS+
etc., etc., ...
I've also heard that v2.1 will have improved docs.
Anyways, it will probably be $50 to all v2.0 owners.
I think IBM loses money if they only charge $50...wasn't that what was being said when IBM was charging $50 for v2.0?(mainly because of the "cost" of paying
