  14. recently I bought a new VGA with Paradise/WD chipset, 1 MB true colour.

  16. Whenever I change to a new resolution in Windows 3.1 (I prefer using setup
  17. in DOS), I get a system error right after restarting Windows: 
  18. "Division by zero or overflow error", and then it goes back to DOS. It still
  19. manages to get my background picture loaded, the crash occurs right before
  20. Prog. Manager should appear.

  22. When I start Windows again, all works fine until I change the resolution again.

  24. I use the VGA drivers that came with the card, apparently they are buggy.
  25. (I assume it's the drivers that are to blame, since with my old VGA and its
  26. drivers everything was ok.)

  28. Well I can live with that problem as it occurs only once after changing, but
  29. if there's a cure, I'd like to know it. Perhaps there are updated drivers
  30. available?
