  31. I have not got the manual on the color monitor handy but judging on the
  32. amount of heat that eminates from it I would have to say that it probably
  33. draws more power than the box itself.  Our computers are left on
  34. continuously (even the dos boxes are scheduled to kick of jobs though out
  35. the night) but the monitors are often switched off.

  37. Not only have you got the cost of running the hardware, but you also have
  38. to cool the room down which also chewws up watts..... there is more to a
  39. computer system than just the cpu and box :-).
