- I am contemplating upgrading from a Deskjet Plus to a Deskjet 550C.
- Obviously, printing color will be *slower* than B&W.

- The question is: is the deskjet 550 faster or better at printing
- non-color documents and graphics generated under windows 3.1? I know
- that the 550 has "scalable fonts support", but does it offer any
- improvement with TT or ATM fonts? Does the 500 or 550 drivers offer
- any advantage over the Plus drivers?

- Apart for gaining color, are there any other aspects about the 550c
- that makes this printer a better deal than the Deskjet Plus?
