  14. I am contemplating upgrading from a Deskjet Plus to a Deskjet 550C.
  15. Obviously, printing color will be *slower* than B&W.
  16.  
  17. The question is: is the deskjet 550 faster or better at printing
  18. non-color documents and graphics generated under windows 3.1?  I know
  19. that the 550 has "scalable fonts support", but does it offer any
  20. improvement with TT or ATM fonts?  Does the 500 or 550 drivers offer
  21. any advantage over the Plus drivers?
  22.  
  23. Apart for gaining color, are there any other aspects about the 550c
  24. that makes this printer a better deal than the Deskjet Plus?
