  12. Can someone please tell me how to activate an AdLib sound board that
  13. I've just added to my 486.

  15. The board works perfectly in DOS apps and games but after adding it
  16. via Control Panel Drives section, the Control Panel Sounds selection
  17. are still all greyed out. This is after going through this entire
  18. procedure a couple of times including re-booting the machine.

  20. By the way, I now get a Control Panel MIDI icon, but still nothing
  21. operative in the Control Panel Sounds section.

  26. I figure that there is probably some funny modification that needs to
  27. be done to one of the .ini files, else/or some updated driver needs to 
  28. be downloaded and installed.
