- Can someone please tell me how to activate an AdLib sound board that
- I've just added to my 486.
-
- The board works perfectly in DOS apps and games but after adding it
- via Control Panel Drives section, the Control Panel Sounds selection
- are still all greyed out. This is after going through this entire
- procedure a couple of times including re-booting the machine.
-
- By the way, I now get a Control Panel MIDI icon, but still nothing
- operative in the Control Panel Sounds section.
-
-
- NOTE: DOS 5, Win 3.1
-
- I figure that there is probably some funny modification that needs to
- be done to one of the .ini files, else/or some updated driver needs to
- be downloaded and installed.
-
-
-
- Thanks for any and all info,
-
