- In a conversation with someone from Microsoft at FedUnix recently, I heard
- about an interesting item called WINLOGIN. As I understand, it allows
- you to start Windows from any machine on the LAN, automatically
- configuring the machine with your preferences from the net: sort of a
- floating environment. This sounds like something from The Future of
- Computing, but I haven't heard or seen much more about it, even
- from the MS Tech Support people.
-
- Anyone have experience with this product at this time? It sounds very
- interesting, what I've heard so far, and it's hard to stop drooling
- all over the Cutting Edge, here. Thanks for your attention.
