- I recently purchased a PAS-16, installed it, everything works fine.
- Mostly.
-
- When I launch a couple of games from within Windows, they make no
- sounds; they work fine when "launched" from DOS. The games are Shuttle
- and 688 Sub. Curious fact: when the games are launched from DOS, they
- both display several logo type screens while playing some funky music.
- The screens fade in and out at a "stately" pace. But when they're
- launched from Windows, the screens fade in and out much more quickly,
- and no music plays. Perhaps this is a clue.
-
- TrakBlaster Pro (a really cool app) also doesn't work (at all) under
- Windows; that is, when I try and play something, it crashes. From DOS,
- it works great.
-
- System: 386DX-40mHz, 64k cache, 4meg, DOS5, WIN3.1
-
- Thanks for any clues!
