  25. This newsgroup is bidirectionally gatewayed to the pcgeos mailing list run
  26. by Pandora.  The mailing has a administrivia address *that is different
  27. from the address that you use to send to the list as a whole*.  Use that
  28. channel for any issues that pertain to the management of the list.

  30. If you don't understand any of this, please read the various periodic
  31. postings to news.answers, news.newusers.answers, etc.  If you can't get
  32. them the find someone who knows what the right thing to do is before
  33. subjecting all of the people on the mailing list and over the entire Usenet
  34. to these stupid, annoying, bandwidth wasting posts.

  39. Mitra, could you please put some kind of filter on the pcgeos-list address
  40. so that these things stop getting passed on to the newsgroup?  I'd suggest
  41. that you just search for the various conventional keywords for list removal
  42. and just drop those posts on the floor (or if you'd rather be nice you
  43. could send the poster a note giving them the correct address to handle
  44. administrivia business).  It might also be helpful if you periodically post
  45. a mailing list ping posting containing the various helpful mailing list
  46. tidbits.  :-)  Thanks bunches.

  49. or is it batched up?
