- to notice if there were any 'lost clusters' reported. I know that I've
- checked my disk space with CHKDSK before and missed the line showing the
- amount of space resulting from 'lost clusters'. ...just a thought...
- If 'lost clusters' does turn out to be the problem, just run CHKDSK using
- the /F parameter. This will recover the lost clusters giving them filenames
- of the format 'FILEnnnn.CHK', where nnnn starts at 0000 and increments by 1
- for each lost cluster found. Its then a matter of viewing those recovered
- clusters to decide whether to keep the data or delete it.
