- Occasionally, when I exit an application, and I type CD \ to
- get back to the root directory, I get the error message "Invalid
- Directory." Also, when I try to do some directory listings, such as
- DIR /W I get Invalid switch - /w sometimes the error will just be
- garbage which may or may not include file names and lots of other
- wonderful characters.
- I have DOS 5.0 on a PS/2 Mod 80 running with Token Ring
- drivers installed. I am not running any compression programs such as
- Stacker. I do have SmartDrive, but I've turned this off and still get
- it occasionally.
- Any hints or suggestions? Please email me directly if
- possible since it will be easier for me to read your responses, etc.
- Thanks in advance....
