  16. We've had the discussion about the Minix fs being single threaded
  17. some time ago. Someone actually went on and coded a multi threaded fs
  18. for Minix 1.6.16. So far so good.

  20. Has anyone ever done the same at the 1.5.10 level?

  22. If not, before I go ahead and attempt to fight this problem in a
  23. reasonable manner (write it myself), are there anyone out there
  24. who have comments on this project?
  25. Maybe someone have actually discussed the subject earlier and found
  26. that it would be impossible to do, - then I probably can spend my time
  27. on some other interesting things :-)

  29. I'm running an 'almost out of the box' Minix 1.5.10 on a PC/AT 286 with 3.5Mb
  30. RAM and 20Mb harddisk.
