- I agree with this sentiment, to some degree. I got MINIX and an Atari ST
- because it was the cheapest starting point for a UNIX-like OS, and (as I
- recall), linux was in a very early stage at the time. I considered
- mentioning it before, but it wasn't relevant to Minix/linux comparisons.
- Some people have praised Minix for the help it gave them when it was their
- only option. For some of us, it still is.
