- The latest version of X for linux is Xfree86 version 1.1.
- You can get a current copy from tsx-11.mit.edu in the pub/linux/packages/X11
- directory. This should have the 2.1 shared libraries that the applications
- say you don't have.

- Slip is still very alpha from what I understand. You might want to try
- Michael O'Reilly's term program. I can email you the ftp site if you
- are interested. I don't have it handy at the moment otherwise I would
- post it. This program allows you to multiplex connections over a serial
- line and seems to work very well.
