- AST is indeed a manufacturer. Last I checked, though, multi-port
- serial boards on the ISA bus were horrendously overpriced (like
- US$1000 for an 8-port board from DigiBoard, as compared to $30 for a
- 2-port board). Is there *any* manufacturer of densely-populated
- serial boards in the sub-$25/port range? One which would suit the
- needs of Linux users?
