- I posted the source code for a program to format/mount/unmount a floppy for
- a normal user earlier today. After I posted it, I realized that it has a
- serious security problem. It lets you choose the formatter you want to use,
- ie mkfs, or mkefs, or what ever you want. So you could choose bash or tcsh
- and have a root shell running. Not a good thing. I will change it so that
- it will only use mkfs or mkefs. I also received some mail suggesting ways
- to make it more secure. I will incorporate these changes into it this
- weekend, and put it on an ftp server if anyone is interested in it.
