- In the near future I plan on splitting linux and dos onto two drives.
- Half of dos on one half on the other, half of linux on one and half on
- the other. Hopefully so when I am doing a make I dont have to compete
- with the drive if doing another disk intensive task.
-
- This is how I wanted it....
-
- Linux / of 35megs on SCSI drive (adaptec 1542b)
- Dos D: of 60megs on SCSI drive (adaptec 1542b) this is my personal area
-
- Dos C: of 150megs on Maxtor 7213 (this is my bbs)
- Linux /usr of 60megs on Maxtor 7213
-
- can I do this and not worry about having problems? How about the
- extfs, does this work with the SCSI drives? Any thing I should know about
- this, because in the future I was thinking of extfs. Howabout this, can
- I have say a /usr directory on two seperate partitions when my needs
- grow?
