  12. I have been struggling with a problem for a couple of days and can't
  13. seem to shake it.

  15. I am compiling X11 code (nothing flash -trivial)
  16. file called a.c
  17.  
  18. cc -o a a.c -lXaw -lXmu -lXt -lX11
  19.  
  20. and I get the following error..

  22. ld: premature end of file in strings of /usr/lib/libXt.a(Shell.o)

  25. I have reloaded the X libs and bins but to no evail.
