- I'm trying to get X running with a Paradise VGA 16+
- SVGA card. When I run startx as root, the monitor
- goes bright with "mulitple" images. ctrl-alt-bs
- followed by several ctrl-c does not help. The
- disk is not accessed by the ls command, so the
- system is ??. When I run startx as a regular user,
- the messages are:
- too little memory for virtual resolution
- *** none of the configrued devices was detected ***
- no screens found.
-
- I used (basically) the Xconfig.mono configuration
- that came with the most recent SLS.
-
- Any ideas?
