  14. I'm trying to get X running with a Paradise VGA 16+
  15. SVGA card.  When I run startx as root, the monitor
  16. goes bright with "mulitple" images.  ctrl-alt-bs
  17. followed by several ctrl-c does not help.  The 
  18. disk is not accessed by the ls command, so the
  19. system is ??.  When I run startx as a regular user,
  20. the messages are:
  21. too little memory for virtual resolution
  22.  *** none of the configrued devices was detected ***
  23. no screens found.
  24.  
  25. I used (basically) the Xconfig.mono configuration 
  26. that came with the most recent SLS.

  28. Any ideas?
