- I currently run OS/2 2.0 and have been waiting for the opportunity to add
- Linux to my system, and perhaps change my base operating system. I will be
- getting two new 500M SCSI drives over Xmas (Santa = me) and will be
- re-installing OS/2 with Boot Manager and a bunch of partitions (to be named
- later). BUT, I also want to make room/allowance to install Linux when it has
- some DOS support (well, I gotta make a living with what I know already, eh...)
- My questions are:
-
- - where's some reading material about doing this?
-
- - Should all my operating systems (OS/2,native DOS, Linux) be on one of the
- drives, or should I put Linux on drive 2 (or can I)?
-
- - can I just leave one biggish partition unformatted and drop Linux in when
- I'm ready?
-
- - do I need (to wait for) special drivers for my SCSI card (BusLogic) which
- already have SCO drivers? Driver-hacking is way beyond me, but this card
- is pretty hot, so maybe someone would be willing out there.
-
- Thanks in advance
