  10. Sorry if this is a FAQ  --  I've read all I can find about it
  11. and I still can't get the thing to work.  I've loaded the SLS
  12. distribution 0.98 PL5; I'm using a Microsoft Bus Mouse (2-buttons).
  13. I get the xroot window to come up and the xclock appears, and waits
  14. for the mouse to give it a location.  No recognition of the mouse,
  15. in either movement or button clicks.

  17. (in Xconfig) I've tried:::

  19. Microsoft   /dev/mouse   (linked to "/dev/bmousems")
  20.  
  21. and
  22.  
  23. Microsoft   /dev/bmousems
  24.  
  25. and
  26.  
  27. BusMouse    /dev/mouse   (linked to "/dev/bmousems")

  31. BusMouse    /dev/bmousems

  34. ....none of which worked.   I know I'm editing the correct "Xconfig" file
  35. because I was able to set the correct video mode.
