- Sorry if this is a FAQ -- I've read all I can find about it
- and I still can't get the thing to work. I've loaded the SLS
- distribution 0.98 PL5; I'm using a Microsoft Bus Mouse (2-buttons).
- I get the xroot window to come up and the xclock appears, and waits
- for the mouse to give it a location. No recognition of the mouse,
- in either movement or button clicks.
-
- (in Xconfig) I've tried:::
-
- Microsoft /dev/mouse (linked to "/dev/bmousems")
-
- and
-
- Microsoft /dev/bmousems
-
- and
-
- BusMouse /dev/mouse (linked to "/dev/bmousems")
-
- and
-
- BusMouse /dev/bmousems
-
-
- ....none of which worked. I know I'm editing the correct "Xconfig" file
- because I was able to set the correct video mode.
-
- Please e-mail any suggestions to: bateman @ owl.nmt.edu
-
- Any/all help appreciated!!!
