- Hi...I managed to get Linux .98pl5 up and running last night, along w/
- GCC and a few other utilities. WHat I can't get running is X8514. I've got an
- ATI Ultra - I believe I've set up my Xconfig file properly. However, when I
- run startx, it blanks the screen, and comes back to the text screen with
- "unable to set default font directory "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc, ..."
- and it's unable to find the fixed font. (As am I ). The paths exist, but
- xstart can't set the path to it...Any ideas? Thanks much....
