- for their sensible suggestions about getting X and Trident to work;
- unfortunately none of which made any difference (thanks anyway, guys).

- However, I do now have X working in conjunction with a Trident
- TVGA8900C. I had been running SLS 0.98.pl5-41. System hung every time
- I ran X. Much nashing of teeth.

- Then I booted up off the "old" boot image, which was 0.98-22. X ran,
- no worries! Of course, now the "ps" command doesn't work, etc but at
- least I have windows. I only have a binary distribution, so I can't
- "use the source, Luke" to figure out why this should be so - nor do I
- suspect, have I the patience. Roll on, Linux 1.0!
