- Hi,
- I'm running Linux SLS 0.98.5 on a Zenith MasterSport 386SL.
- All works fine. No problems with X386mono, etc.
-
- But I've tried and failed to get Xega working. Has anyone had
- any luck running this? I'd like to get it up and going on the internal
- LCD screen. Or an external. Possible difficulty is the VGA chipset is
- of undefined origin (X386mono finds it ok) and only houses 256k RAM.
-
- Zenith quote the VGA board as `100%' VGA compatible. I've tried X386
- colour but cannot get the right chipset specification (garbled screens
- etc). Xega seems the best bet over mono for this VGA board.
-
- Any comments. Help most appreciated.
- Cheers
