  11. When I upgraded to 0.96p6 (and now 0.99, has the same lp code),
  12. parallel line printer driver got VERY slow (printing bitmaps an a NEC
  13. P6 or a HP DeskJet takes 1 or more MINUTES per line).

  15. Using  /usr/src/linux/kernel/chr_drv/lp.c and /usr/include/linux/lp.h
  16. from 0.98p5 (or earlier) works with both 0.98p6 and 0.99.

  18. Is there a fix for the "new" broken lp driver?
